I’ve switched the comments to Blogger’s comment tool (from entenation’s comments).

Unfortunetly, this means if you’ve ever left a comment on my blog, it’s been lost.

Finals Time – Inspiration Boost

Saturday, December 11th, 2004

Ok people, it’s the weekend before finals. No doubt you’ve all been drained from the last 16 weeks of mind-numbing classes and all-around logic-defying reality around you. Now, I can tell you that every once in a while, when I get depressed, I look to a familiar sight, and upon reflection, I am re-energized and ready to take on life, grab it by the horns and… do stuff.

I will now share with you the secret of being able to cope with the harsh realities of final exams. By viewing this image, you too will be inspired to study for your finals, get your Christmas shopping done, and tell Joe what a magnificent young man he is… and here you go!

No Loafing
Boo ya. Be inspired… No loafing got me to where I am today.

General Update

Wednesday, December 1st, 2004

Ok, so here’s a general update.

Halloween didn’t go as planned. I was Bizarro Captain Murphy as planned, and I took kickass pics, but then I lost the disposable camera that weekend. I had to drive myself to the parties I went to, i.e. no drinking. And I couldn’t find 2 of the parties, which made matters worse. It was a lonely Halloween, for sure. And that’s disapointing for the simple reason being it’s probably my last “dress-up” Halloween.

I was confirmed to Judicial Board, and elected to be the Chair, so now J-Board will be fully functional for the first time… ever. It will be amazing. Now all we need is some business. I’m not going to ask people to file grievances, but when they do come up, we’ll be prepared for it.

Thanksgiving has come and gone. The break was good, and the dinner was good… hell, it was the first Thankgiving that featured a 6-person Texas Hold’em tournament within the family. But, what’s embarrassing is that… I went out first… :\ But beyond that, it was a fun time. It’s weird… I wanted the break to come for so long… and I get home, and I don’t have the best time I could… was it the extra homework, the annoying parents or something else, I don’t know. Maybe it’s a combination of the 3. But as a result of last weekend, a recurring condition has… recurred, and it’s not caused by any kind of pathological agent. From what I can gather, this occurs during periods of high stress. Well, finals are coming up, so I suppose that’s the source. But I’d think it’s from the weekend of being home.

In general, that’s it. If you’d like specifics, all you need to do is ask… I’m willing to talk, and make you laugh… :)
