Actually, it's the rest of your brain that gets you in trouble, but it's the sympathy part that makes you feel bad; since it's easier to turn off the sympathy part (it's just smaller) than the entire REST of your brain, go with that. No, Joe - they're not nice people. If they were nice people then they would be doing something other than making sandwiches for a living.
