Joe attempts Stand-up comedy

After numerous baby steps, there is finally a date for my first attempt at stand-up comedy. Open Mic night at McGuires:

Where: McGuire’s Restaurant & Comedy Club (1627 Smithtown Ave, Bohemia NY – 631-467-5413)
When: Thursday, October 12th, 8:00 PM

The night is actually part of a contest: “The Funniest on Long Island.” There will be 2 winners per night. Those winners qualify for the finals, and the eventual winner gets $100 and a paid performance.

I hope to see many friends and/or family see me attempt this! Support is always welcome!

    As you’ve probably figured out, it’s about 15-20 minutes from where you are. If you know where the MacArthur airport is, the club is right around there (on the eastbound side of Vets Highway.)
