Seriously. I did awesome. I got laughs and many compliments from both audience members and the other comics. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I hope to do it again!
P.S. There were 7 comics vying for 2 spots in the finals. I did not place in the top 2, but the 2 that did were fantastic, and I wish them the best of luck.

Stand-up progress
Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006After rehearsing in my room, my one primary story is going to take up the full six minutes I’m allowed next Thursday (not this Thursday.)
I think I got it down. The next step is to practice in front of people. Family first, I guess, then friends, then finally, an audience.
