Will Farrell is fantastic, as is the actress that plays the landlord. Her mastery of the craft is apparent, and I think we all can learn from her.

The guy talks about the Imus contraversy from a black man’s perspective. He makes plenty of good points which I’m in full agreement with. Take a look.
This is the 15th century version of what I do for money.
This is fantastic if you’re familiar with role playing games like Final Fantasy. See all 4 episodes for great justice.
Who feels like distrusting the federal government today? I know I do!
A former Lockheed Martin engineer has released a video on YouTube.com detailing engineering flaws and oversights in the design of a US Coast Guard patrol boat.
The video is 10:30 long and covers safety and security issues on the 123 class of patrol boats as well as the engineer’s previous attempts at correcting the problem. While the production of the video is very simple, the message is of the upmost importance.
I’m familiar with engineering ethics (as I had to take an ethics class in college in order to graduate), and this is the epitome of ethical practice. For an engineer, it is a social responsibility to alert people of things like this. As stated in the National Society of Professional Engineers Ethics Page…
- Hold paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public.
- Perform services only in areas of their competence.
- Issue public statements only in an objective and truthful manner.
- Act for each employer or client as faithful agents or trustees.
- Avoid deceptive acts.
- Conduct themselves honorably, responsibly, ethically, and lawfully so as to enhance the honor, reputation, and usefulness of the profession.
Good on this guy. It takes great courage to do something like this. He’ll save many lives with his actions. If need be, I’ll donate to a legal defense fund should he be charged with anything resulting from this video. I encourage others to do as I did and spread this around.
On the scale of beer commericals, this ranks pretty closely to the Real Men of Genius campaign and the Red Stripe HOORAY BEER ads. This ad is an ad of EPIC PROPORTIONS. It’s quite possibly Super Bowl quality.

Props to Tara for leaving the link to the site in her AIM profile.
The site hosts a collection of videos they produced, 2 of which include Travels and its sequel Travels 2 which are both decently good short films. Both feature Binghamton University in them, so that’s immediately a plus in my book. Also, they’re both interesting and deep and stuff, so I recommend watching them on that basis, too.
This site hosts video captures of video games being completed in speeds that will make you shit your pants.
Super Mario 64 in 19:47… that’s 19 minutes and 47 seconds, mind you. The player only gets 16 stars, which if you’ve played SMB64, you know you need at least 70 stars to beat it normally. Well, there are ways around that shown in the video. Yes, some people may call this “cheating”, but I call it “taking advantage of the game conditions and lack of comprehensive QA testing and reaping the benefits of not having a life looking for these shortcuts.” For comparison, the 70-star record is 1:01:32.
